Bet you didn't know Robinhood's lover is Maid Marian.
Bet you went what has a Phillipino maid got to do with Robinhood?
Bet you don't give a flying goat who is Robinhood's lover.
Neither do i.
Tapi nak tulis title yang thematic punya pasal, sempat google 'Who is RobinHood's lover' Hahaha.
I love Google.
I know I promised a Vietnam Day 2 soooon. But if you noticed, my soooon-s are never really sooooon or are completely forgotten (refer to Mum's Bday & Beach Fiesta post). Hahaha.
Vietnam posts will come along, fret not.
But today, I am in a mentelicious mood and I tell you all about my date with the boyfriend.
*BEEEAMS*
I swear it felt like ages since I went out a full day with the boyfriend, taking infinte pictures, getting tipsy from all the laughing and persuading him to buy junk food to eat with me so I won't be guilty alone.
Before setting off, boyfriend made sure Maid Marian does not look like a maid from Perfect-Maid-For-You. So with skillful fingers, he plaited her hair to make her look like a damsel worth rescuing for.

CANTIK PULAK TU.
I am so ashamed of myself T_T
-----------------------------------------------
So why does Robinhood come into the picture?
If Yus was more foolhardy we would have gone around stealing things from rich people and distributing them to the poor like good little Maos, and of course, like Hero of communists, Robinhood.
But no.
We went to
DM Archery @ Suntec!
( DM Archery
#03-040
Suntec City Mall
Entertainment Zone
Telephone Number : 97964754
Opening hours : 10am - 9pm)
That's the main highlight of the day.
So that's why Robinhood and Maid Marian.

Why not Legolas?
Because we want to wear green, and Legolas is gay don't you know? According to his FB profile, he is in a relationship with Gimli the Dwarf. (ah go search go go hahaha)
We first took the promotional set: 24 arrows for $9. Cheap right!
We thought wow, 12 arrows, so many! our arms will fall off by the 5th!
But trust me it's not enough. Once you get into the swing of things, and your arrows are finally hitting the board not the floor (possible ok), you'll just want to shoot more.
It's addictive, man.
No wonder Legolas loves shooting and shooting
(NO SEXUAL INNUENDOS HERE).
We got the $20 set where we can come back anytime to complete 6 sets of 12.HAHA.

Oh gagah sungguh Abang Robinhood! I suka!

Somehow I reminded myself of Xena the Warrior Princess:

... She should plait her hair.

Loving this place!:
Tong Seng Coffee Shop opposite Bugis Junction.
I think it is well-known for cheap, fast and good halal Chinese food at Bugis.
It's my first time there la so a bit jakun here.

I initially ordered Lor Mee (left) because it looked interestingly strange and blackish. And the name sounds mysterious. Hahah.
The Boyfriend ordered Dry Wanton Noodles (right).
You would predict the inky gravy to taste strongly of kicap or some tangy sweet-sour paste, but no. It's quite bland and there's only a subtle taste to it. It almost taste like thick, bland Mee Bandung. It comes with chilli paste so it definitely helps bring out more flavour.
It's nice but I swapped with Yus because I am fickle and I decided I like the look of his noodles. Teehee.
The wantons are light and crispy.
I love the springy Wanton noodle. At first bite, you may find it to be quite tasteless. There's no strong chilli paste to go along with it like you find in Malay-cooked wanton noodles. There are some spices beneath the noodles, though I don't really know if it's chilli or Mr. Tong Seng's secret ingredients or what.
When you mix the noodle, the paste and the soup that comes along with it well, it is absolutely delectable. I love love love the soup which is dark-coloured chicken broth. Makes a superb comfort food.
Both noodles costs $3.30 each. Rare price for good food nowadays.
Will most definitely come back to try chicken rice. Heard it's awesome.

I like the interior design of the new shopping centre Illuma @ Bugis.

It reminds me of the tracks for the letterbox machines at NUH. You know, the cute squarish boxes that move along tracks on NUH's ceilings...
Illuma is just another typical shopping centre. Nothing new. Somebody suggest to Lee to build indoor rollercoaster, PLEASE!
Le Sigh.
--------------------------------
I think I am fated to be with a Volkswagen.

LOOK HOW GOOD I LOOK WITH IT.

Ok this one not so good because a bit paiseh to take with the car when so many people are walking by.
I want it I want it I want it!
Roar!
---------------------------------
The rest of the night was spent outside a non-functioning Fountain of Wealth with...
Auntie Anne's Pretzels!
Please vote for Auntie Anne's New Face 2009!

Oh yumyumyum.
Bought our usual Cinnamon Raisin. We would always scrape the cinnamon and sugar coating because it is too damn sweet you can feel your teeth rotting immediately.

And a never-tasted-before Sour-Cream. Which we LOVE. And which would leave an after-smell of vomit around the mouth area because of the cheese cream.

So after eating, we visited Narnia...

and saw Michael Jackson trying to chase Mr. Tummus the Faun.

The rest of the night, as they say, is history.

:)
