Next.

Welcome to Part II of Atikah's Fantastic Holidays.

Enough talkin'.
Let's just dive straight in shall we.

The Boyfriend's Photoshoot

So the Boyfriend has straightened his hair and was sooooo happy that he wanted to take many-many pictures before his waves return.

I decided to be the Most Supportive Girlfriend and suggested a full day of boyfriend photo-taking. Cannot tell you how happy and excited the little narcissist was.

I commented that the new hairdo actually made him look more boy-bandish. And don't you just loooooove boys in bands... not boybands but those bands like PeterPan, like the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus...... I think their style (as well as boys of course) is simple, casual yet hot. My kind of style... cheyy cheyy...

The boyfriend cannot hear the word 'hot'. He sure want to attempt looking it. Haha!
Kesian matair aku yang satu ni.

The day was a perfect grey, bleak day to write sad emo songs.. so the theme for the day was: Emo.
Be prepared to see Mohd Yusdi Mohd Yusop as you have never seen him before.........

Location #1 (oh yes, got many locations ok):
Some Jurong Container Site That I Didn't Know Can Enter But The Boyfriend Knows Can

Photobucket

Fullamak. Model material la beb.

Photobucket

Photo of the day at Location #1:

Photobucket

By the end of 1 hr of frowning...

Yus: "Can I please smile now, bie, please? Please?"
Hahaha.
Me: "No."
Hahaha. Nak sangat kan.

Location #2:
Kallang Stadium where S'pore tragically lost to Vietnam

Everything was a beautiful grey. From the skies, to the stone walls, to the puddles on the cemented grounds.

Photobucket

.... but my boyfriend is not a beautiful grey like his surroundings, ok. It's because I have purposely made the pictures black and white... FYI.

There was a sad quietness in the air; even the wind was whispering softly... as if respecting a sorrow. I was honoured to witness such beauty and I was trying darn hard to capture it all.

Photobucket

Photo of the day at Location #2:

Photobucket

By the end of the day, my Boyfriend should have a complete portfolio good enough to convince Tyra Banks to start America's Next Top Male Model.

The rest of the day is spent at Kallang River Park just enjoying the dying day....

Photobucket

...and also eat our super cold breakfast for dinner.
Hahah. Yes. We forego our breakfast and lunch just to show you how focused we were in this project.
That's what you call enthusiasm, kids.

Photo of the day:

Photobucket

Because when I was uploading the prata pic, it looks sooo good I'm craving for one now. And a photo of me and Yus because we make you crave for more of our pics. Hahahahahah.

That lovely small BBQ

Looking back, I've been to so many BBQs this holidays that I think I'm no longer a cancerous person, but I am The Cancer itself. Haha. Ok. Nonsense.

One of them was Weini's cute little BBQ session at her condo at Varsity Park.

Photobucket

I'm so glad we worked together, Weini. I truly miss your company and it's good to have caught up with you after all those years eyh
:)

Photobucket

And of course we have Alison to thank because she's not only our, QUOTE, "God of wealth", but maybe also "God of Contacts" Hahaha.
Later I give you offerings, k.

Photo of the day:

Photobucket

Although my eye looks crossed, it's ok because I want to show you how amaaazing the chocolate I'm holding is. It's called Rocky Mountain Chocolate brought by JT from Australia.
It's chocolate coated marshmellow but the orgasmic part is the chocolate.
I peeled the chocolate off the marshmellows and threw the marshmellows away.
I ate 3/4 of the packet.
Muhaha.

_________________________________________

The sibling's small BBQ at the condo

Ok it's actually supposed to be a bbq only for our close friends.. including mine. But because of my "genius" in spreading the word, and maybe also because there wasn't much luck, none of my friends turned up. None.

Except for the boyfriend.
THAT'S WHAT I CALL LOYAL, FRIENDS.
Hahahaha.

Photobucket

It became my Abang Sadiq's social gathering in the end because more of HIS friends came. Hahah!

Photobucket

But it's ok... it's ok.... I had my fair share of fun by going round and talking to everyone macam orang tak tahu malu. Luckily they are a friendly bunch.
:)

Photos of the day:

Photobucket

I call this one The Dark BBQer...
You never see his face, but whenever you go to the foods table, there will always be food ready to be eaten from the grill.......
Cheyyyyyyy.

Photobucket

This one is a classic capture of what happens when you have no parents in a house.
Everyone becomes a monkey.

Rollerblading! with Syafiq and Abang Yusdi

I loooooove rollerblading.
I love love love love rollerblading.

Minus the fact that I don't quite know how to brake, and I am a fatal disaster to anyone who's close to me when I am going down a slope.......

I love love love love rollerblading.

I love the wind in the face, that exhilaration when you are going at fast speeds... which for me is probably 5km/h... hahaha.

It was Syafiq's first time rollerblading, the poor, deprived kid.

And it is NOT funny to have a lumbering 85kg holding on to your backpack from behind and asking you to pull him along.
Me and Yus was trying to advice him on how to move, and we repeated the same thing over and over to him for I think 3 km. To no bloody avail.

Photobucket

Because he was too focused on looking good for beach chicks.
See. Fall down also want to look cool.

Photobucket

Photo of the day:

Photobucket

It was simply a wonderful and super enjoyable day!

__________________________________________________________

Rollerblading! With Yunus and Pojan

I love love love love rollerblading!

I love it so much that I called a couple of friends to blade with me the very next day.. after I went blading with Yus and my fat bro.

Wheeee!

Yunus is a pro-bladder blader and he is also a cruel instructor who believes in leaving me struggling and clawing the air and shouting his name for the whole ECP to hear when I really truly cannot make it and will fall if not saved.

Photobucket

And there's a story behind that fence-climbing which I shall not disclose to save my water face. Hahah.

Pojan, because of his harrowing experience at a certain slope and other embarrassing falls, refuuuused to blade and chose a safer ride. A biker will always be a biker la eh...

Yunus was the one taking 98% of the photos you see here. He's a people-taker. And he captures all the moments when you are

1) looking semangat-blader
2) makan ice-cream
3) grinning bloody wildly like a horse
4) eyes semi-blinking with mouths opened in an obit gape to show a little teeth....

Hahaaha.

Photobucket

Photobucket

But he does have a keen eye and his shots are pretty cool...

Photobucket

Photos of the day:

These are screen captures from a fiery duel between
IKAH & POJAN

Duel called Revenge of The Biker Dude

Photobucket

Ikah: Oi. I don't like you and your bike and your t-shirt and your striking blue Nike shoes and that silly sheep smile. Look at me and fight, dammit! *pouts pouts*

And Pojan, with a flick of his manly lashes, turns around and........

Photobucket

Ikah: AARRRGHgurguergerh9r92rlkadj029493mlkae0i3wuer[wie!!
Passerbys: ooooh.... ahhh...

Pojan won.

I love love love love rollerblading!
And your company, guys :)

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars"

Hi. I'm here to resurrect my seemingly dead blog.

I confess.
I haven't been blogging simply because I've been procastinating all these while.

But then suddenly I started having nightmares where a tubby foot as big as KingKong, chased after me through a city street roaring "Update meee!Update meee!Raaaarrr!"

(Oh you know, like those action scenes where big monsters like to rampage around buildings, smash buildings, and roar. Then got helicopters shooting missiles and people screaming and cars exploding all..... )

Ok. Nonsense. Didn't happen. Hahahaa.
*skips happily around with Shoot-Me markered on forehead*

Now let's get down to business. I'm going to provide you, my very patient friends, with a fantastic sweep over what I've been doing for the past few weeks I've gone MIA.
But before you get very excited thinking I've been travelling the world and visiting exotic places, sorry eh.
The only exotic pictures you are going to see are my exotic face in 24,342 different poses. Hahaha.

Of course plus the other exotic people in my social-camwhore-circle.
But they're not thaaat important. Hahah.
Joke, ok. Relax.

So I hope this entry will justify the deadness of this blog.
and can this also make up 94.6% of the reason why I never reply your MSN nudges, smses, threat smses and calls...? please? Teeheehe.

11th December, 12 a.m: The Midnight Surprise

Many people are actually unaware that I have an elder brother. That's because my family locks him in the closet under the stairs.

Ok. No.

But seriously, 5 years ago, I wish I could lock him up somewhere because my brother is so kental I can cry just thinking about him. (I think he thought the same of me too.)

Now he has evolved into a cooler being and so I have no qualms in blogging about him since he won't destroy my image. And I shall also refer to him as My Lovely Hamsem Brother.

My Lovely Hamsem Brother is actually a very humble human being and hates attention and calls me an attention seeker just because I blog.....
Which is just mean and wrong!
I am an attention seeker but I don't blog to seek attention.
As ironic as it may sound, it's true...
...Really.....
...Really la...
Ok. Whatever. Please just continue reading. Thank you.

Everytime I want to take his picture he would swat me away like a fly and say
"NO. You are going to blog this right. NO. Go away..."
And he would try to keep as low a profile as possible so that I won't expose whatever he has done on the worldwideweb. But it was his Birthday and there are some things you just can't control... Wheeehehe.

His lovley girlfriend Faidah took the trouble to plan a mini surprise for him at the stroke of midnight...

Photobucket

When me and my other siblings came down with a Birthday ruckus, his face was classic.
If ever there is a visual definition for surprise, that face of his is perfect.. mouth gaping like goldfish, eyes blinking rapidly, and all.

He kept on repeating
"You are all punks.. I've been punked! Haha!.. I can't believe I've been punked..I've NEVER been punked! Haha!..."
like a retard.
Loudly.
Until we said ok shuddup now cut the cake.

But the most loveliest part was when he said
"I've never actually gotten a birthday surprise before.. Thanks."
with a genuine happy smile and a grin of a child.
Moment, dok, moment...
:)))

Photobucket

It's 12 a.m at a random table, a literal stone's throw from my housegate. So you cannot expect us to wear party frocks.

Photo of the day:

Photobucket

That's dog poop.
And my bro is the only one who managed to step in it. Woohoo!

12th December : The Family Celebrates @ Amirah's Grill

When it's a joyous occasion, the Family's tradition is to ALWAYS go for somewhere nice and rather expensive to eat.

Photobucket

Photo(s) of the day:

Photobucket

Ahhh.. Look at that.
I am very proud that I bought for My Lovely Hamsem Bro a polo and a jacket from Crocodile.
And MLHB (ni dah malas nak type haahaha) was soo delighted he went to try it on right there and then.

Best Gift (s) EVER (This one must switch to Malay mode):

Photobucket

- Buku yang membuat kita mengenali Nabi Khidhir dan Nabi kita Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. Saya pasti awak semua tak tahu kita ada seorang nabi bernama Nabi Khidhir kan kan.. Dan walaupun kamu tahu kita mempunyai Nabi bernama Nabi Muhammad s.a.w, ia tidaklah cukup.

Hmm.. Rupanya juga sedikit sebanyak macam syaitan ya? Ya.

This is my mom's and dad's gift. Hahahahaha. Takpe, bang, Ilmu itu pelita hidup.

And that pretty much sums up the Birthday celebration for My Lovely, Hamsem Brother.

Earning the Buckeroos

Dearest Alison has managed to pull me into several ad hocs and I tell you, she should open up a job seeker business or something. Can name it Alison-Have-Jobs-For-You.com.

Photobucket

One of them was being a Registration girl for a Cisco Event @ Conrad Hotel. Basically, all we have to do is look pretty, wait for people, register them, look pretty, smile, say this way sir, and eat the leftover foods after all of them are gone. Wheeee!

Photo(s) of the day:

Photobucket

These are the photos of the day simply because I took them. Muhaha.

And then there was the musical and then registering names for students in India and also the telemarketing...

Photobucket

But the best was the musical. Though the songs involuntarily go stuck in our heads and though we had a pretty sticky-icky task, it was one memorable experience.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Oh Alison, how can I survive without you, my source of wealth......

Hair-y Affair

Me and the Boyfriend decided to do something with our hair.
I wanted the treatment that will make your hair look ridiculously soft and smooth and silky.
He wanted the treatment that will straighten his hair but not the nail-straight kind of straight.

So we went to Jean Yip and was approached by this guy who has hair that looked fake and he smelt of gel and he had on this brooch the shape of a music note which I find odd and totally irrelevant to his job.

I call him Gatsy Guy because he reminds me of the gay Gatsby ad where that horny-looking guy was singing "iiii can give you gaaatsby....".
OH! Maybe that's why he's wearing the brooch! Hahaaha.

He told me my scalp was oily and when he said this, he had a very serious expression as though I was doomed to die bald. So I asked him whether it was terminal. He said no, can be treated if you buy this treatment called Hydramask at $280.

Even bothered to use this machine to capture my scalp and showed me how oily my scalp was and how because of that my hair wasn't growing right. I was horrified la ok. But luckily no insects running about.

Photobucket

I was tortured. Didn't know to go with it or not. But Yus, my hero, asked for a cheaper treatment that treats only the scalp and so I was settled for a cheaper treatment simply called Scalp Treatment. Once the Gatsby Guy found out how stubbornly cheapskate my boyfriend is, he left us to carry on with out treatments. Woohoo!

Photobucket

And Yus, went for something called Magicstraight or some shizz like that.
He was pretty hyped:
"Bie, this is the biggest makeover EVER. I will be a new person! I'm very excited!"

Photobucket

I loooove my treatment! It's as though they've ripped my old scalp, leaving a minty and very cool sensation, and gently put on a nice, clean, oil-free scalp. My head felt very healthy. I could hear my hair roots go "Aaaahhhh......"

Both of us were satisfied with the end result. And Gatsby Guy managed to squeeze a few tens from us to get shampoo and cream to maintain my oil-free scalp and Yus' hair. He won't quit I tell you.

Photo of the day:

Photobucket

Hehehehehe. I think he looks like a contented fat cat.

First and foremostly,

Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha

And even if this is a teenyweenymini celebration, hope you guys had a wonderful and blessed one!

:)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's funny how I felt so darn busy the past weeks yet now I felt that I've done nothing much, really.
Just sleeping at 3am, waking at 12pm, go to work by 430pm and come home at 2am.
And in-betweens are short outings with friends and the boyfriend.

See. Nothing much yet I've got no time for bloggywoggy.
*strokes blog lovingly*

Oh and just so you know, I'm gonna vomit out stuffs meant to be written in 126,452 posts in this single entry.

K now go get ready the popcorn.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Favourite Friend

Photobucket

This is Yusnizar Bte Yusman and she is my Favourite Friend. We met when she approached me to ask directions to get to the registration hall. She has the most coldest look and everybody thinks she is anti-social. But only few knows how naturally beautiful she is inside out. And I'm one of them lucky people.

Photobucket

When she says she doesn't give a damn, she doesn't. When she says she will do something, you bet she'll do it. She speaks her mind and slaps truth on my face HARD because she is one of those rare people who truly cares. Her heart has the capacity to love big but when she hates, there's no forgiveness.

She told me that pheromones are why one person can click with another. But I don't think so because I've always believed she is a Godsend; an angel disguised as a fierce looking minah to care and look out for me.

Photobucket

Babe, when I said I miss you, it's not superficial. You have no idea how ridiculously ecstatic I was when I get to meet you for those 2 days.

I really do love you and I cannot cannot cannot wait to see you again.
I think you are the only reason why I look forward to school.

I'm sorry I'm very lesbo right now but I know you are wiping your tears because you're touched. Hahahaha.

And if ever our boyfriends leave us, let's just swear off men and live happily ever after together. Hahhahahaha.
Ok. That's freaky. Sorry.

Photobucket
Photobucket

I just love you to bits, darling.
:)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

ShyLittle.com

Photobucket

This is for my ladies!
I've been meaning to blog about this dress that I got from this really adorable online shop since eons ago. But oh well. Time only permits now.

I must honestly say that this Kimono dress has become one of my most favourite dresses. And only for $25!

Photobucket

The most important thing about clothes for everyone, or at least for me, has to be comfort. This dress promises such. It's made of polyester, so it's thin and feels real cool on the skin. Trust me, I won't be smiling and skipping around so happily under that hot weather.

Photobucket

The next most important thing is obviously style. The psychedelic patterns on the dress and the cool shade from grey to black are what essentially captures my attention. But what's fantastic about this dress is that it will flatter you regardless of your size. The elastic waist band will definitely cut your figure and the limp polyester will hug your curves at all the right places.

Plus! This dress is versatile for it can be casual as well as formal, if you don the right accessories.

Oh and did I mention that it comes with a black tube? Free? I wasn't wearing it on the day I took the pics, though. Heh. But if you don't want to wear tube inside also caaaaaan. Heh heh heh.

Photobucket

There are other Kimo dress available at ShyLittle.com which I find really pretty. There are also other tops, dresses and even bags you might find real cute too. Oh and some of the vintage bags are gorgeous! All for reasonable prices. So you got to check ShyLittle.com out!

I'll be keeping a link at my sidebar so if you've got that itch to spend, or just want to windowshop, just clicketyclick ok!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pak-Tor!

Time wasn't quite merciful to me and the boyfriend. We haven't had (a) proper date(s) for quite a long while now. What with me working at night and him having his Maintainence Period. We both were tired by the end of our work and we both were robbed off our usual Saturday dates...

So this is for you, love. I know you're waaaaiting for this post because you want to see your photos. Tweeeehehe!

Photobucket
Photobucket

I want to thank you for the lovely night at West Coast Park. Thank you for waiting patiently when I had to take multiple shots and cursing all the time because I am never satisfied with what I take 99.3% of the time.

Photobucket

And it was wonderful to share such a fine night with you... with the bright faraway lights from the ships and docks that illuminate the calm black sea.

Yus: Wow, bie, I looove the lights. I'm attracted to them..

And you had this freaky hypnotised look... like a fly attracted to those blue neon lights. But it's ok. You had weirder reactions and expressions that I've seen.

There was a cool breeze blewing all the time and eventhough it was gentle, you always made sure I was warm enough.

Photobucket

We had to cross that huge field and it was wet. And you carried me to keep my feet dry eventhough I was breaking your spine.

Photobucket

And I just love it when I'm with you because even to the most familiar places that we go, you somehow always manage to make it even more beautiful than it was before.

Photobucket

Then on Sunday you brought me to Marina Barrage because you knew I looove the open skies. And I truly love love love it! Because it was suuucha beautiful day!

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket

Oh and YOUR pictures turned out superb!

Photobucket
Photobucket

You are always so very tolerant....
To my pettiness when I ask you to retake and retake because I am never satisfied with my own face in pictures 99.7% of the time.
...To the heat, eventhough you were wearing something that's not so thin.
You never lost patience because you want the day to remain perfect for me.

You are never selfish... something that I can never be.

Photobucket
Photobucket

Ignoring the people around us, it felt that we were not in Singapore. It was like a honeymoon. Especially in this picture below. We look like we are sending a picture back to our families at home.
Heehehehe.

Photobucket

(Hi family! We're having a great time at Sydney.. The weather is great here! We'll buy you souvenirs! See you in 2 weeks! )

And before we knew it, our date ended.

But there was still that night when we nearly killed ourselves laughing like that.
So we needed fresh air from all the laughing and we caught some on Henderson Waves.

Photobucket

Differing from the bright pictures taken at Marina Barrage, we took emo pictures because mothers always say too much laughter is not good.

Photobucket
Photobucket

Cool eyh being emo.
Hahaha.
Stoppit seh.

You know, nobody can ever match up to your company.
You know that, right babe?

I miss the way we would laugh and bitch and gossip and find for good places to eat and walk around aimlessly and then sitting down somewhere random and just stay silent enjoying each moment.

It's been awhile and I miss it too much.
Can't wait to get our weekends back!

:)
